Supporting the Victorian social enterprise sector

Thursday 17 September 2020

As we collectively navigate the challenges of 2020, The Swinburne Social Startup Studio is expanding its work with two new programs each designed to help build the resilience of the Victorian social enterprise sector.

Now launched and freely available, The Social Enterprise Fundamentals are a set of videos, workbooks and interactive workshops providing the ‘nuts and bolts’ of social enterprise to new and emerging social entrepreneurs as well as anyone who’s ever wanted to know more about social enterprise. Free to access and available online, four rounds of workshops will be run across mid-2020 to mid-2021. To reserve your space click here.

The Studio Clinics offer up to 16 hours of free, one-on-one practical support to existing and established social enterprises in Victoria who are experiencing the negative impacts of COVID-19 and the 2019/2020 Bushfire season. The support provided includes financial forecasting, business model re-design, implementation support and more. If you’re a social enterprise, based in Victoria and would like to learn more then please apply to The Studio.

The Studio Clinics and The Social Enterprise Fundamentals are generously supported by the Victorian Government’s Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
